Based on players linked on any news thread, I am unhappy as no proper starter quality LB are linked, except Hato while very talented he is more CB than LB, very young and raw, and plays outside top 5 Euro league (Kadioglu plays in even weaker league, so also not starter quality). Imo LB is our biggest need on starting 11 as last season Arteta rotated Zinny, Kiwior, and Tomi, so no one he trusted at LB. Timber is no LB as he only played LB 5% of his career so far (transfermarkt data), so its a big gamble to expect him to be starter quality LB in his rookie EPL season. Edteta has to get 1 starter LB, or our left side will be weak again.
Of the players linked, Sesko and Doue are a must get, both arguably the best performing talents potentially world class when matured of comparable age in top 5 Euro league, which is what we should buy if we cant find matured elite players we can afford.
