That was a worrying performance. Our attack is losing form in the most crucial period. Saka off form and a njurrd. Martinelli is off and Havertz purple patch is over

You know footballers are human? We rotated heavily. And the Man City game was hard work for 90 mins. We played a bit with the handbrake on, and that's the game that was needed. The points are what was needed.

Yeah, obviously. But think like this… ourselves and Liverpool drop points but Citeh are perfect (which they are well capable of being.)

We need both to drop points. That’s all I was trying to point out.
So we need to go perfect for a chance to win the league... We need to realise that if we want to win this league we need to go that way. League is so competitive as t this point that you can't lose more than 3-4 games and a couple of draws. So, if city go perfect we go perfect. I am sure Klopp is preparing his team for that.

Has there been a better CDM in PL history than Rodri? Seriously, guy can do everything

I think it's a different era. That CDM position has evolved a lot, Claude Makelele will always be the one for me.

"Midfield 3" merchants, proper midfielders can do it in and 2 and win a title without losing...

They have the Bayern fixture as well, I don't think going off gas and rotation is bad, on the contrary. GJ is back and he can cover wings and Martinelli is recovering as well. They and Trossard can cover while Saka Gets back.

Apart from ESR the squad players (I don't include Trossard here as he's very much in the first team mix) didn't do much to further their cause tonight.

With the game won at half-time they were the one who needed to show their hunger and they were content to sit back and absorb the pawings which passed for Luton's jab. On another night they grab a goal and it's squeaky bum time all over again.

Still, we got the three points with no mishaps and we can now start thinking of Brighton which will be a tougher proposition.

Exactly. After the city game Ødegaard and Saliba were exhausted in the post-match interview. They're not used to defending like that for 90 minutes. It really takes it out of you. Ødegaard said when you finally do get the ball your legs are super-heavy.

Arsenal Quotes

An Arsenal fan, when you finish fourth, will say, “Hey, we’ve been in the top four for twenty years. We want to win the league!”. They don’t care that Manchester City or Chelsea have spent 300 or 400 million euros. They just want to beat them.
But if you finish fifteenth two years running, they will be happy if you finish fourth after that.

Arsène Wenger
