City don't have proper winning mentality. When they lead 3-0 it's easy, but in this situation they're just confused and don't what to do.

City doesn't have a leader in there, missing the likes of Kompany and Yaya.

Otamendi looks jet-lagged and Stones looks a bit error-prone. Defensively they could be vulnerable with Laporte's injury, esp. if Stones doesn't improve.

Turn up expecting an easy win in this league and this is the result. Wish more teams bottom and mid table would put in these performances against the big sides and not just accept defeat before you’ve got out of the tunnel.

Eg: Palace today @ Tottenham

Liverpool would struggle too, if Van Dijk and a winger (Mane/Salah) would be out for a long time.
It's easier to replace a goalkeeper like Alisson than two key players.

Think that Pep never focused too much on his defence. He always counts that his teams will score more than opponents.

Not too worried about Chelsea. Wolves are gonna be a mess this season. Still haven't won a league game I think? Chelsea were made to look distinctly average by Sheffield at home. Escaped by the skin of their teeth against Leicester, also at home. 11 goals conceded already, leaking like a sieve at the back. Lampard to his credit has freshened things up a bit but there are fundamental flaws that'll be exposed over a 38 game season

Crazy to think that 5 points already looks a huge gap with the points Liverpool are unlikely to drop

We will probably lose our home game 0:2 or 0:3 against City and everyone will say, that they are above our level, while Norwich is beating them with 10 injured players.

It was a bad day for City tbf.Making those kind of mistakes will always cost them.

Credit to Norwich, because they didn't defend for **** in first 4 games this season.

I do think this one being on the back of the international fixtures had an impact, but Norwich kept their concentration admirably at the back and were lethal in taking chances that presented themselves.

I’m mostly worried about ourselves.

This is a thread about the gameweek and the PL as a whole. Sometimes it is about football, not just Arsenal, as with threads on La Liga, etc. So, for example, I don't think we're banned from discussing Liverpool vs. City for the title, even though we're a couple of seasons away from genuinely being in the title chase.
