Born and raised in nearby Hertfordshire, Jack Wilshere is one of the biggest success stories from the Arsenal academy in recent years.

Dimuntive, skilful and possessing an unmatched eye for a pass for his age, Wilshere now boasts the illustrious number 10 shirt at the Emirates Stadium, having wowed Arsenal fans and the watching world alike during his breakthrough to the Gunners’ first team back in 2008/09.

Possessing a spiky edge to his game, Wilshere is incredibly combative despite his 5 ft 7 in frame but the Stevenage-born England international will be finally looking to put his injury troubles behind him going into the 2014/15 campaign.
