We all know how important full-backs/wing-backs are in the modern game, plus his signing allows Monreal to go to the back 3 which he's excelled. With our new system it's vital that we've got guys like Kola and Bellerin as the outlets.

You can dress it up however you want, Kolasinac is an excellent addition to the team and gives us good balance in the wing-back department. The difference between going into the season with Kola and Gibbs/aging Monreal at wing-back is not to be underestimated. Kola has better ball-retention, better crossing, better passing and is an all round tough physical guy.

To completely dismiss the signing because he's not a shiny 60 million striker/CM/CB is basically acting like a spoilt toddler.

For the me the core and most important business was the spine of the team.

I'm glad Kola is here but a guy like him isn't going to swing our season as much as a CM, CB etc.
I agree, but the fact we badly need a new creative CM, doesn't cancel out another fact: We needed a new left back. Yet you insist on ignoring his appearance in the squad.

I had a wish list at the start of the summer and I see no reason why I should step away from that.

I think we need a new spine to compete, thats my belief.

Sure we'll pass it on to Wenger seeing as you know more than him about what's needed in the team.

We know Wenger is too loyal to his current players. Another season of Cech, Kos, Per, Santi, Jack coming.

3 of these will barely kick a ball, the other two are old.

 Come on, man. You've been nothing but negative lately. I know you'll try to say you're just being realistic but you're taking the piss for sport recently.
are you a new member or is this someone who's set up a new account?

Hey, I completely respect that - we definitely need more signings. Just feel like you've been talking down to people more than your usual banter.

And not new, no. :) I might have bumped my head and forgotten my name though.

Arsenal Quotes

In June 1996, David Dein, Peter Hill-Wood and Danny Fiszman came out to Nagoya to meet me on behalf of Arsenal. Within an hour we came to an agreement. The Japanese directors didn't try to keep hold of me in the usual way but talked with persuasive arguments... But as far as I was concerned, the decision was taken. Arsenal. A decision that would change my life.
