A player to challenge Ramsey, and a wide player giving us the possibility to play 4231 with a great front 4 consisting Mesut, Alexis, Lacaz, and say, Lemar.

An extra CB would also be nice given the different uncertainties with every CB we've got.

Goretzka/Naby Keita seem like the perfect players for this, but both seem pretty unattainable right now. Seri is realistic and a real baller, tries to emulate Xavi in his playing style. Would he work next to Xhaka in a 3-4-3 though?

Now attacking:

Kolasinac: 0.94 shots + 1.41 keypass

Alonso: 1.50 shots + 0.80 keypass

If we go deeper and will take a look at expected goals metric (stats per 90 min):

Kolasinac: 0.14 xG/90 + 0.15 xA/90

Alonso (chose him cause he's kinda like a role model on this pose): 0.14 xG/90 + 0.10 xA/90

So it looks like that Kolasinac is a perfect player fo ML position.

Hence why I asked if he could work in a 3-4-3. Ideally Seri would play in a midfield 3. Ideally Goretzka would play next to Xhaka in a 3-4-3, the absolute perfect player for our current formation.

Seri can play easily in a CM2. He has done it with OGC Nice often.

He played with a variety of CM, from Nampalys Mendy (LCFC now) to Wylan Cyprien or Vincent Koziello. Mendy was more a traditional #6/CDM. The others are more #8. With the last two, Seri was playing deeper.
