if holding didn't dive in needlessly and leno didn't forget where he near post was....we'd be fine

We need to go back to being direct this half. When Kola, Bellerin, Torreira, Xhaka, Mustafi got the ball on the first 20 min they were always looking up and hitting it toward the Sp**s goal line.

When Sp**s got a couple of chances we went to possession. It looked like under Emery’s direction. And in those 15 min we conceded chances, goals, and couldn’t form an attack

Wasn’t happy at all during the first 25 mins and I was proved right. Talk about Leno mistake or Son dive if you want, but we have ourselves to blame.

Playing well against a good side, running them ragged, get a goal...what do we do? Of course we waste good opportunities and go on to give away a needless foul resulting in their goal.

Iwobi had the ball at his feet in their box with open space on two occasions, and he twice dithered and got nothing out of it. It’s not good enough against a top side.

If we ever want to actually win against a top side we have to either convert chances when we’re on top or not concede moronic chances, ideally both.

Evidence so far this game is that we’re still up to our old tricks. Better wake the f*ck up in the 2nd half, cos this is unacceptable.

Oh, and Mkhi’s about as useful as a piece of wet toilet paper.

Well we should have been clinical with our passing , like I said there is only one guy that you know will make the right decision , he's not playing though .

Never understand why you'd spend half time listening to the pundits. I rant and rave every expletive under the sun, pull a chunk of hair out, go for a piss and then come back on here and wait for the wisdom of Hydro to soothe my jangled nerves.

I stopped doing coke regularly and that make me less nervous.

Should not have been down. We should have been going in 2-0 at half time with a little bit of offensive quality and better concentration

Why moan about Mike Dean? We give referees the opportunity to make the decision. Sokratis gives a needless free-kick for the first and Holding goes flying in to block a right footed player crossing from the left when Bellerin is also there. Not to mention Leno was terrible for the first. But yeah let's blame the ref, not the fact that our defending has been shocking whenever Sp**s have managed to put something together.

Then you have the other end where Auba is offside constantly, Miki giving the ball away and our final balls have been poor.

The only thing that is saving us at the moment is adrenaline intensity and hard work. The quality is seriously lacking.
I don't think Sokratis meant to clip his heel to be fair. I think that one was unlucky.

Wow, strong statement from the boss.
Neither had a bad game but we need fresh lungs.

We had an amazing performance before the goal(s), Torreira won back so many balls in their half, we should really have capitalised on them. Xhaka was also fine.

I'd look at Iwobi and Mykhi, their end product is lacking seriously, even though defensively they put in a very strong performance.

It was a change in tactics that did it. We went from the rear 7 looking up and pinging it forward to the runs of the front 3 to the front three not getting the ball because the others were passing it around in our half

Arsenal Quotes

"Surely what will be their last attack.

A good ball by Dixon, finding Smith for Thomas, charging through the midfield... It's up for grabs now! Thomas! Right at the end!

What an unbelievable climax to the League season"

Brian Moore on the Thomas' winning goal at Anfield in 1989
