This should be nothing other than 3points for 3 reasons:

1-The feel good factor at the club right now, important to use that as momentum to start the season well.

2-We need to banish last seasons away form.

3-Newcastle are ****e, far more so now that Benitez is gone.

Sad thing is I can just imagine being 1up and Carrol comes on in the 80th to level. Hate him.

Is Lacazette and Pepe injured ??

Laca has a knock so is a doubt. He didnt play the last 2 pre season games, match fitness might also be an issue. As for Pepe. He hasn't played a minute in pre season. Add adjusting to a new league and it becomes unlikely he will start.

Leno
AMN - Sokratis - Chambers - Monreal
Torreira
Xhaka Ceballos
Özil PEA Nelson

Not the greatest line up but it’s balanced.

We probably would throw Luiz straight into the lineup based on his PL experience. For CM and attacking it is hard to work out right now. Willock deserves a start. Özil probably would be best as CAM than being on the right where the RB is weak already. Unfortunately based on Pepe and Laca likely only on the bench at best, that does probably mean Mkhi will get the start on the right (even though we would hate it).

His a professional get him out there. Sooner he adapts and gains PL experience the better. I hope it’s not a situation like last season where Emery slowly Integrates players in different set ups. We were screaming for Auba and Lacca to start together for weeks before he done it.

Come On Emery surprise us on Sunday

I think Luiz will start. It’s not like the back 4 is a well drilled offside trap machine where throwing him in will create uncertainty. It’s just four players thrown together. He has played all preseason for Chelsea and is comfortably better than Chambers and Mustafi so there’s no reason for him not to play.
