The difference that this team is balanced and settled specially the back line we at the moment changing our formation and our back line too much this is not helpful also prime mert and kosh are miles better than what we have now.

The worst part is, that is only about 4 seasons ago, and I would literally take none of our current ****s over anyone in that team!

The transfers since that cup final have killed this club, killed it violently.

Whoever disrespected a 33 years old Kos after carrying our defence for so many years pretty much as a single CB...

The guy was so solid, yes he had the odd **** up but otherwise he basically was the best CB we had in the Emirates era...

Once he left the defence slowly fell apart.

Just shows you how shocking the recruitment has been in this department doesn’t it. Truly shocking

He's a big part of the reason we're in this situation - and not because of his quality. His little tantrum really put a cloud over our pre-season. Instead of talking football, we were talking about a primadonna.

No one disrespect kosh he is one of most solid center backs i seen in PL since he joined but what he did in summer was totally disrespectful for this club that's why fans really lost respect of him

Reeling from Laca & Kos nightmares
There is still plenty of talent to work with

- 1 of top 5 keepers in the league
- 2 of top 5 strikers in the league
- 2 of the best 5 left backs in the league.
- Between us and Chelsea for best group talented young players in the league in Martinelli, Saka, Willock and Nelson etc.

It's unacceptable to be getting just 1 point
from 2 games against Norwich and Brighton.

Only Aubameyang is a top 5 striker in the league and he plays out wide. How do you even know Tierney is a top 5 LB? You're just making an assumption based on nothing he hasn't played for us much. Saka, Willock and Nelson aren't anywhere near as good as Chelsea's youngsters.

Solid isn't how to describe Koscielny he was rash and erratic.

We had 4 signings for the season, one is away on loan and we play the one with the least expectation while we bench the most expensive signing and a quality left back.

Agree. That's why someone with some semblance of experience has to come in. Someone who knows how to properly fix a car because he's done it professionally for years, or someone who's maybe not long in the business, but has a license and has been doing it on the side for a decade. Not someone who luckily got one or two cars running again, or maybe even just a ****ing moped.
Love the metaphor continuation.

Thought we looked a bit better going forward at times and our generally passing.

Also worth noting that Brighton were holding Liverpool at bay for most of their game.

Not much, but something. Another day and perhaps VAR gives Lacazette a penalty.

Our talents are nowhere near Chelsea.

Only Guendouzi is at their level currently.

I honestly think we could have dealt with the Kos situation better. At the time I was really losses off with him, but having read more about it lately it wasn’t like we covered ourselves in glory there.

We'll lose all the over entitled fans too.
It's their own fault. Arsenal fans turned from loyalists to entitled whingers under Wenger by 2010, then they morphed into conspiracy theorists and finally in 2015/16 into 'keyboard warriors'.

When he was sacked they became 'excited dreamers'. Now they're just angry and very confused.:lol::lol:
