Fvck you very much to the commentators who were fricking filth, 1-0 'til the end makes the win all the more sweeter as the last flickers of hope lingered on to the end.

Nelson saying that we didn’t respect what Arteta told us about Leeds and that he gave them the hairdryer treatment at half time.

They listened to him and they won the game. That’s going to build the trust and respect they have for him.

Job done! Why didn't we start like that in the first half?
This is the thing that Arteta will need to work hard to change: habits. Emery never had us pressing like Arteta wants us to, and so they still have a tendency to sit back sometimes. It's not a jab at Emery, it's more a 'here's style x and here's style y'.

Good result. Very well drilled Leeds side and a dodgy Arsenal lineup.

I'm most pleased about the 2nd clean sheet in a row. Once we become harder to score against we will pick up loads of points even on days we not playing that well.

Mic lady “What did Arteta say at half time?”

Laca: “He shouts a lot. He knew Leeds would play like that but we didn’t listen”

First of all that’s why you should listen to the manager. Respect the manager.

Arteta looks really relieved

This was a huge test and I'm sure Arteta really wanted to win this game. He did well to up the intensity of the players and shut down the Leeds midfield in the 2nd. Great win IMO.

Leeds will do well next season if they hold on and make PL next year. Super happy for Reiss aswell.
Arteta said in a past interview he likes to see how they respond when they suffer as he wants to see them suffer together but still stay as a ‘team’ and well he got 45min worth in the first half lol. Surely he’s not just relieved, but extremely proud of how his players got up and dusted themselves off and came through with the win in the end.

Arsenal Quotes

I knew we were very different, that he (Ferguson) had a total hold over his club while at that time I was still more of a coach. I also recognised his huge qualities. He knew how to surround himself with the right people and didn't rest on his laurels when he was successful.
