Vinai has nothing to do with transfers his job is about marketing.

Raul edu has to get players our scouting staff and Arteta recommend this is what im asking just like last season more of Saliba Tierney pepe Martinelli type of signings and less Luiz Cedric signings

Our Mexican army somehow showing it's worth more than the sum of its parts ;-)

Anyway I suggest we to operate the deals on yachts deep inside international waters where no laws apply. Just in case...

I trust Raul to get deals over the line. Drugs, whores and brown paper bags may be involved, but that is none of my business.

Some interesting things in here

Arsenal are also conducting a major overhaul of their recruitment department, led by technical director Edu, but the scouts being let go are not part of the proposed redundancies because they are contractors.

Edu wants the club to move to a more data and analytics-driven approach which has proved so successful for the likes of Liverpool and Man City, and away from the old fashioned system of having scouts specialising in different locations around the world.

Earlier this year, the Brazilian carried out an overhaul of the recruitment department at Arsenal’s Hale End academy following a review with academy manager Per Mertesacker, with a number of established figures, including head of youth scouting Steve Morrow, departing.

It appears the scouts are not part of the 55? Changes the optics of us removing the scouts quite a bit. It's no longer "we're removing the valuable scouts who found RVP, Martinelli and Cesc because the club can't afford to keep them on, oh no!"

Now it's "We're refining our recruitment structure so the club can evolve with the times. We plan on using more statistic and data analysis going forwards."

I remember a Mertesacker quote about how many staff we have in our coaching structure from youth to first team level. He said something like "you have potentially 1000 people influencing the life of one prospect, it's incredible".

If Edu & Mertesacker plan to refine our coaching and scouting set-up i'm willing to give them some time before jumping to conclusions.
