Lacazette at Lyon was a pure scorer... Not a poacher but a complete striker. Then he lost pace in Arsenal and doesn't have the height to compete in the air.

He was never a complete striker, he's a penalty box player that exploited rubbish defenders in France. I don't buy this lost his pace thing either, he's always been very slow.

To be fair Giroud got better with the years. He would fit better with new cross AFC than when he played here when we needed a more mobile striker.
He scored goals like tonight's at Arsenal as well, but frustrated a lot of the time.

It wasn't, he stat padded in a rubbish league and we were the suckers that fell for it. Short, slow and weak CFs don't cut it in the PL, the writing was on the wall when we signed him.
I think it's gamble worth taking for 45M. If i remember 17-18 season there weren't many quality strikers available.

It’s weird. We started to change our play style while he was here, but he left before he could really benefit from it.

The standard of football in Europe is the lowest its been in ages. It feels like City and Bayern are very good teams, PSG are decent then the rest are bang average.

Look at this, Atletico bein tasked with trying to break down a defence and they look clueless, what a one tricky pony Simeone is.

Don't you rate Mourinho, or at least used to rate him when he was good...why the hate for Diego?

City won't have a better time to win it. Though PSG looking good too. When Neymar comes back, their attack looks scary.
