Arteta knows where the problems are, what he needs to do in this team first, before going to the market. This was not good enough tonight.

See you say this, but I guarantee the signing we make this Jan that we hope will fix our attacking woes will be…

A defender.

You say that like this isn't how we play every ****ing game, even against relegation threatened teams ffs

Sure it gives us the ability to beat good teams being clinical on set pieces etc but **** me do I want to do when I see 10 men in the box against ****ing Luton.

Still it was your first win at the Emirates since 2015 IIRC and David Moyes first win there entirely, solid performances from most of your players out there. Definitely a reason to be excited compared to previous seasons.

This has properly shaken me, ngl.

Bayern 10-2 was bad, but at least they are a massive club and it was during our fall, but this...what even was that

You can't lose matches like that, period...City can cause they are the current champs and have the experience to come back, we need every win we can.

Gutted here.
This felt like that 4-0 loss away to Southampton on Boxing day.

Soton were on a horrible run and Charity FC lent a helping hand.

Kind of at a loss really what we're supposed to do to course correct. We seem to do everything right. We dominate games, we don't concede a lot of chances, we've also started to create a lot of chances and yet, nothing seems to go right for us at the moment. Players who before had no problem finding the back of the net are now firing blanks and we concede despite not concede a lot of chances. Something is not right but it's not really obvious what.
Statistical correction. We had guys who aren’t proven goalscorers hitting double figures for fun.

A few like @Rasmi and I called it out as unsustainable and I think we’re just seeing it get corrected.

Saka, Jesus and Martinelli all struggling horribly from open play but you can’t exactly point to previous seasons and be confident they’re going to turn it around are they? We don’t have volume goalscorers in tis team.

What did we do to Brighton last home game?

That is the combination we need to bring consistently. The problem is not that we cannot do it, the problem is we are not consistently doing it.

Arteta knows where the problems are, what he needs to do in this team first, before going to the market. This was not good enough tonight.
Probably because Brighton don't just defend, its all too slow in attack especially when teams are sitting. Essentially playing slowly to reduce mistakes.

Bad day at the office but only 2 points off the top. Get back to winning ways
The way we’re playing at the moment I wouldn’t bank on it. it’s worrying. Seems we’ve collapsed earlier this season, at least we made it until April last season before we capitulated.

Winless against West Ham in our last 3 games (all comps). Sigh, here I thought we got rid of our last bogey team with Southampton getting relegated.

Nothing gets this place more excited than a lose.

I hate to be "that guy" but in this instance, it's loss.

Now that I'm angry, I'm going to be especially petty where grammar, spelling & vocabulary are concerned.

It's only right to take pleasures where you can these days.
