Really want to see ESR start at LCM now, think just him being quicker carrying the ball in transition is an improvement over Havertz in that role.

Glad we are scoring and getting confidence in our attacking players but this Palace have been the worse side I have seen in the PL this season by a mile. Not sure we were that great despite the score line.

Yes, we've played better than this and lost. West Ham and Liverpool come to mind.

But, what matters most is the importance of control and incisiveness. We saw both on display today, and this is what I mean when I talk about what it takes to be a complete team.

I wrote in the Martinelli thread a while back that he could benefit from playing with ESR because ESR can provide width by roaming to the left, allowing Martinelli to get central. That's potentially a great partnership.
