The Invincibles was a completely different formation/system/style of play, I can't really see the similarities.
Of course, it's a 4-4-2. But... with Flamini and Özil it seems that Wenger is returning to a fast paced counter tactic. Look at the possession stats, they're not Barca-esque anymore.

But we're indeed not playing like them -yet. We miss the final piece of the puzzle: Thierry Henry. We're just very, very close to it. So, anyone actually has an idea of the perfect Arsenal striker?

Muriel?
Reus?
Draxler? (well maybe if we'd make him a striker)
Lewandowski? (stretching it...)
Ballotelli?

And **** this, Ramsey was by far the best player of the BPL last month. He played WC, I call him WC. I don't suppose Ramsey read this post, so it won't hurt his development. :lol:

Reus or Suarez next summer. We need a special, special attacker if we are to do big things. We are one 40m signing away from a tasty side.

I do think, I would like Draxler and Reus, but i do think that will be to much.

Just watched Brazil U17 trash Slovakia 6-1 at the WC (just started). Two Brazilian players stood out, Nathan (number 10) & Mosquito (9). Both play for Atletico Paranaense. Let's raid them.

That must be another Nathan.

From today's article, 'Mosquito, Nathan pair up for Brazil'

Given that both play for domestic side Atletico Paranaense, their ability to read one another should come as no surprise, as Brazil’s assistant coach Mauricio Copertino explained: “They play together for Atletico-PR's U-20 team. The club really back their development and they operate very well alongside one another. We saw that and so we decided to bring them together into our squad.”

but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
We don't seem to do to well with Brazilians do we! for a Gilberto we have had to endure a Denilson or Santos and for differing reasons Eduardo and Wellington have hardly had great careers.

I was a Silvinho fanboy, Edu was good. Eduardo was pretty unlucky

Mehdi Benatia

Missed the boat this summer, he wanted out and we could have brought him for a modest fee, €13.5m he sold for to Roma this summer... playing at a World Class level this season. Mehdi Benatia's Characteristics are quite accurate on whoscored, very accomplished all round defender.

6-1 again for Brazil U17 this time against UAE U17.

Nathan with two more goals and an assists, two games and four goals and three assists. Ridiculous.

Sign up Nathan and the Mosquito.

Fair! well as soon as we are around 50/50 on how successful our Brazilians turn out maybe we should buy both youngsters!

Reus pls!
He definitely would put us up to another level, and he could also fill in as a makeshift striker if Giroud was out. The way I see it our main attacking line up would look like this:

--------Giroud-------

Cazorla----Oz----Reus

Hopefully the supposed buyout clause is real. He'd be worth every penny.

Two other players who could strengthen us would be Koke (At. Madrid) and Doria (Botafogo).

Rooney will have 1 year left on his deal. Whisper sweet words to him and bring him here.

Suarez and to a lesser extent Lewandowski should also be available. No way Liverpool turn down 40m next summer. I reckon he was promised he'd be let go if they fail to get CL, which is why he became a good boy so quickly.

We need 1 additional top class attacker, I hope we nab one this summer.

Still keen on that scumbag Suarez, he'd take us up a notch. Don't think Liverpool could be quite as cocky next summer either if they miss out on the CL again and we have a good season.

ATM I want:

* a starting FB who can defend and has the ability to cross well;

* another genuine defensive CM who can defend/intercept/hold the ball - preferably one who can also provide a pass and can provide a challenge in the air (Khedira???);

* a WF/ST who can play from wide as well as through the middle, and is a genuine goal scorer who has some pace & can run with the ball at feet with control;

* a GK who will communicate well with the back4 re cover defence, and who can distribute the ball accurately.
