Great article that. Interesting what Brady says about the scouts and City already knowing about a player before even they do.

The reserves will be interesting to watch with the coaching changes being made, and Jonker taking charge.

Daniel Crowley has been immense so far this pre-season. If he stays fit, we could see him make the bench in a CC game! Who are your youngsters to watch next season from the U18/U21 camp?

Seen pictures of Kyle Ebecelio lately? He's really filled out since leaving us.
He dominated in the two international youth tournaments I watched. I really thought that he would make it here.

Streams for Chavs vs Citeh & Utd. vs Norwich U21's, none for us. When is Arsenal going to relaunch Arsenal TV.

Joel Campbell and Diaby play for the reserve today game against Westbrom. I understand Diaby is playing to get fully fit but why Joel Campbell?

He's not getting many minutes in the senior team, so it's probably just to keep his fitness/sharpness up. He'll definitely get his chances, especially in the cup games.

It could be to do with him playing in the Greek Superleague last season, and even though he played in the WC, the PL is a big step up. AW probably just wants to ground him more in training and these type of games and work him in slowly. Pretty sure AW would have told him his plans, looks like he is here to stay anyway, which is the most important thing.

Yeah, but i hope we give him chances in league games too now with Giroud is out if we want him to prove his worth then we should play him more.

Crowley is unbelievable.

Seems to be a complete attacking midfielder - technique, dribbling, passing, vision, eye for goal etc....he keeps up this progression and he'll be getting first team game time.

Game finished 4-2. Sounds like a comfortable game - apparently Joel Campbell played as the AM/10. Chuba Akpom smells opportunity this season clearly, whether that's a loan or first team minutes.

I want to see Akpom get a chance ahead of Sanogo, should we need him

Hattrick for Akpom tonight in U21 game, it's 4-1. Crowley also scored a freekick.

Game probably over in a minute.

Scored a sweet volley in training too.

This sounds a Tad ridiculous wengers blooding Campbell in by playing him in an under 21 reserve game??, looks more to me that Wenger just doesn't fancy him much and will be looking to offload him when the right offer comes along.
