Good Tony Adams interview on the Fantasy Football club with Paul Merson.

Good stuff, little interesting bits of info/insight you pick from these interviews. Adam's says he got Bergkamp a little rattled once in 1998 when he asked him something along the lines of "all this talent, but you've never won anything, surely it must bother you". Says him and the other defenders were hard on Dennis in training, felt he needed it but Bergkamp would always give it back.

Says Petit was a monster basically, big strong, run all day, protect the defense, drop into CB, start attacks etc.

Very positive about Wenger. Says he was never offered a coaching role, but felt if he turned up at Arsenal after he retired and said "I'm coaching today", Wenger would have said "oh, ok".

Didn't really pick it up, but I'm sure he said Henry just turned up at Arsenal training after returning from New York.

Mountain of a player Adam's, people shouldn't forget.

It's interesting, Wenger has this open door thing for ex players, a lot of them go back to train, learn coaching and even coach etc.

Keown, Campbell, Henry, Pires, Ljunberg etc.

Wondering if certain players think they're too big to go back without Wenger actually calling them back - Adams/Vieira.
