League is very weak
Keeping a Sanchez and buying an Mbappe is what Wenger has spoken and built towards. Those 10 years of buying kids, developing them in the first team, getting CL and then selling them for profits was towards a time like this.

If you know, then you know the 2006-2013 era was where Wenger really excelled.

Arsenal as we know it is made by Wenger. Beautiful product of endless time, tears and sweat the man put into it.

Why can't they understand that this is the exact reason why we won't sell them Alexis.

We've done better than they have in the past 3/4 years. Yet we're 'nowhere near them'. Some fans, christ.

They somehow manage to mix the bitterness of a Millwall fan with the self-entitlement of a Liverpool fan.

Its truly an impressive achievement of self-delusion from that lot.

Hope the club and player can come up with some kind of agreement. A new contract with the option of him leaving next year if we don't quality for champions league etc.

Failing that let him see out his contract. Year is a long time and he might be persuaded to change his mind but if he still wants to leave stuff him. The club will always be bigger than him.

The question is does Wenger have the balls to potentially write off 50 mil?

Finally something reliable. Jog on Pep you ******, the guy already has the best attack in the league. No idea what he's thinking.

Getting Aguero in for Sanchez would be good business though. Aguero is injury prone but he's still better than Sanchez when firing on all cylinders imo. Getting a top top striker for somebody who already wants to leave would be brilliant which is why it won't happen. Arsenal fans never catch a break.

We didn't excel from 2006-2013 we went trophy less and Wenger is responsible for that.

Yes he could have maybe won trophies and he got close a few times.

But he is also responsible for keeping us competitive with zero money to spend in the transfer market and he had to make profit for few years.

Why so serieuse?
What do people feel about a Sanchez-Aguero swap? Sanchez wants to win trophies, but Aguero has already won a lot for City. He could be up for a new challenge. Think Aguero would flourish under Wenger and a traditional CF will allow us to get someone like Lemar in and improve the overall quality of the squad.
Assuming of course, that Sanchez doesn't sign on and we're faced with the prospect of losing him on a free next summer.

I'd rather keep Sanchez. Gives 100% all the time, and he is an amazing player. Aguero is too injury prone.

Keeping Alexis, even if its purely to crush the giddiness of the opposition is enough for me.
City plastics seem to think he i at their ****hole already. **** off.

Strategically, going into next season... having Alexis focusing on the PL primarily, while the others "enjoy the Champions League" going absolutely nowhere, could work out to our advantage. Wenger must cease the potential gain we have next season.

Keeping Alexis means with one or two key additions we can go and challenge for the league.

Selling Alexis means next season is a write off before it begins and CL football is our ceiling.
