"He can get us _____"

I know this'll make @Makingtrax smile, but Klopp and Pep could both come here and we aren't winning jack nor ****e if we don't get some better players.

So saying, "I don't (or do) think he can ___" is pointless. We're low on talent. Oh sure, Arteta this Ancelotti that, but without better players even if a manager maxes what we have, it's not that good.

The old veteran move is good for a bridge. Gets some stability. Should be a short contract if it's Ancelotti (18 mo).

If that's a qualification, you'd think this guy would be at the top of the list....

Ancelotti and DeLaurentis are meeting to decide Carlo's future.

To my consternation. I always said his being away from club football for so long (after having no success at it in the first place) would have made him a huge gamble.

What are the odds he will be sacked? I haven't really followed Napoli this season.

This is true. Nobody loves Arsène Wenger more than I, but the club needs to look forward and not back. One advantage that the new manager will have is that they no longer have to be the guy who follows a legend. That's always difficult.
indeed - following Emery really ought to be doddle

The trouble with long term managers that were so charismatic and almost genius like, is that it can several managers before the club reboots. How many have United had, 4, and their still underperforming. .
