That's because the Spanish gang pushed for and convinced KSE to get rid of a forward thinking expert who relied on extended scouting, performance analysis and stats to find unknown players for low fees.

Instead we're being mugged from super agents that are found in Sanllehi's contact book.

People sh*tting on him in the summer wanted it to be one way, but it’s the other way.

In two transfer windows he did some solid work, given time I think he’d have got us going back in the right direction.

This club has declined in every way possible recently. Our rivals spent nothing last summer while we pissed up over 130M on transfers to finish miles behind them.

Club is a mess.

Arsenal is a bum club, the fans put the microscope on this guy and over evaluated his every move like he’s some magician, of course he’s going to have hits and misses, over time hopefully he’s hits would’ve paid off.

This guy would've been a Chambers replacement, it's not a big deal if he's not signed.

What's concerning is the lack of direction from Raul and Edu. They look like people who don't know what they want. They wanted to sign a player that they are not sure will be any good. Reminds me of someone's insistence at the club to extend Emery's contract and then sacking him a few months later.

They haven't gotten a clue, that's the biggest worry. If Josh Kroenke actually cares about the club, he will investigate what the hell these two guys are doing and intervene.

Thats what I think too .

Even his misses weren’t that big, who cares if a £1M defender doesn’t pan out ffs? It’s a nothing fee.

He’d have had us signing Malcom and was also pushing for Pepe while he was here (according to reports). I think we’d have still made just as many good as bad signings, just like we got Martinelli this summer along with some ****ty buys. It’s the nature of the game.

Sven sold are only two goal scoring wingers we had left, and replaced them with zero wingers...don't think Guendozui is that great, plus wasn't it that ****house Grimandi that spotted him...Leno and Lucas were good, but Leno was pretty well known and we still have issues in midfield even with Torreira...Mik was also a horrible swap for Sanchez, and according to some, the money Mik got forced us to lose Ramsey in the end.

This regime has been poor too...but Saliba and Martinelli are better and more exciting than anything Sven signed.

We don’t know that though, he was already on his way out in January and had seemingly lost power before that.

Judging him on his two windows of January 2018 and the next summer it’s clear what plan he had.

Saliba became a target during Svens time here.

Don’t think he was in charge of outgoings mate, and just because people were aware of Leno doesn’t stop him being excellent value for money.

It wasn’t the Mkhitaryan money that stopped us re-signing Ramsey, it was the Özil extension which Wenger and others opposed but Gazidis went with anyway.

Guendouzi is a super talent, he’s been overplayed badly because of the poor make up of our squad but when he was fresher at the start of the year he was great.

It’s not really different to now is it? Tierney and Pepe were promising signings at the time (still could be) and you couldn’t find fault in those signings. Martinelli was a diamond in the rough signing people would’ve loved to suck off Mislintat for. Luiz was basically the Sokratis moment of this summer.

Lmao why do you keep saying this?

Ramsey was offered the contract, and then it was withdrawn because he was deemed average and too injury prone.

Don’t understand hyping up Saliba, knowing he’ll need multiple years to develop and will come into a mess of a team and be partnered next to a clown like Luiz.
