I'm not sure where the rags are getting the Tierney to anywhere gossip from. Arteta wants people who work hard in training it's one of the reasons Guendouzi was dropped and Ceballos got back into the team.

Not so long ago Arteta said this “He’s been training, his work ethic is incredible, I’ve been really impressed with him so hopefully we can get him soon but we need to be careful and a little bit patient with him as well.”

We also spent all last summer in a saga trying to sign him I cannot see us rushing to sell him.

Doesn't bode well with Celtic if we are selling their legends just a year after we signed them from them! There are a couple of players there we should be looking at!

A good relationship starts with us treating their legends well!

Selling doesn't even make sense. Why would we sale our better players when we just bought em!

No one is saying he is bad, we just can't keep another injury prone player in our books. Look at Kolasiniac, we can barely ever play him since he pulls a muscle every week. We don't need another LB crock.

What I like about Kieran Tierney is that he clearly identifies as a full back. Most full backs think they're midfielders or wingers just like Beyonce thinks of herself as a powerful woman or even worse, an actual artist.

Tierney puts in balls from deep, just like Rocco, beats his man to put in crosses and makes overlapping runs like a bleeding bunny would. He looks like a sensational buy. Only downside, and I’m not quite sure what it is, but he screams injuries to me. We bought a mummy. It's probably better if we would just leave him in naturally dry or frozen area.

What on earth is wrong with Beyonce?
Not to my tastes and were all sick of her but she’s legitimate talent for sure.

She’s been about for years and hasn’t missed important dates and sat on the treatment table unlike your boy Tierney here. She’s tougher than the majority of our squad no doubt.

Beyonces last 2 albums are nothing to write home about and it doesn’t help that the “beyhive” are the worst fan base ever. They make Liverpool fans look reasonable.

No arguments there.

We didn't spend that kind of money on him only to sell him to Leicester when hasn't even had a chance to prove himself. It's all just the media stiring sh!t

Listened to the interview yesterday. Arteta is clearly excited by him. He loves his work rate, attitude & application, and can't wait to be able to select him.

We all go on about Leicester's scouting, & how we need to identify these players before they get to teams like Leicester. Well this time we have, Leicester would like him, & many think we should sell up. Madness.

I posted a couple of days ago, that the player who will benefit most from this enforced break, is Tierney. We signed him while he was recovering from an injury, so it took him a while to get going.

Then he got another totally unrelated injury. Now, both injuries he's had problems with in the past, due to overplaying & not getting the correct treatment. Hes now had ops for both, & from there it's all about building up strengthing around the area in both cases & not rushing him back, something he's been allowed to do greatly because of the enforced lockdown.

My prediction is the guy will come back like a machine. We cry out for specialist players in specialise roles. For commitment, for work rate, for leadership, for attitude, for pace, & for quality. This guy has them all.

And that's from a biased Rangers fan. I've been getting stick from my Rangers mates about Arsenal signing an overrated crock. I look forward to him proving them wrong.

I just think in the big picture he’s just inconsequential whether he goes or stays. That goes for most of the team. He’s not such a talent that his inclusion takes us to CL, he can’t even string games together.
If Saka and Kos stays that’s even less of a reason for me not to care.

Disagree completely, look how influential Liverpool and City full-backs are, there's a reason Pep spent so much on them. I'd honestly rather play Liverpool without TAA and Robertson than face Liverpool without Salah and Mane, they are that good to the way the team operates.

Tierney has shown plenty of promise in the very little time he's played, could of racked up a hand-full of assists and kept Traore quiet for 60 minutes until they had to sub-him. Yeah he's looked shakey at points but that's absolutely expected yet the majority of the time he looked solid.

He certainly is a talent and a huge one at that, selling him now would honestly be so daft when solid full-backs are very hard to come by and would make Arsenal look so bad giving up on a player like Tierney already because of injuries.

We all know Kola is a liability, guys on stupid money and doesn't have the talent to demand warrant that and Saka isn't even a LB, let the kid flourish at LW like he should where you can argue that's one of the weakest areas.

If this time next year Tierney is picking up knocks here and there and still hasn't had a consistent run of games then fair enough selling him maybe be the best bet, but after one season where he's had his shoulder pulled out at West Ham and recovering from a previous injury there is absolutely reason we should be selling him.

Bit of a left back roundabout on the horizon.

Chelsea not only being linked with Chillwell but Telles & Gosens as well. If they pass on Chillwell hard to see anyone giving our money back for Tierney.

Telles had just signed with a super agent which suggest he is on the move. Its Pini Zahavi who has the links to Chelsea but also Kias mentor. If somehow we can get the Tierney money back from Leicester & land Telles would be perfect. Crazy we never did that deal in the first place.

A full back is very important in the modern game. Pep has spent £250m on that position alone. Tells you how important full backs are. This yeas EPL champions-elect relies on their full back to create chances for them.

I think you're probably saying this because we haven't had a top full back for a while, so you've probably forgotten how it looks like to have a top class full back

Also, bear in mind Tierney played in a team that was all over the place tactically, often patrolling the left side on his own as Auba had lost a bit of motivation.

If Arteta can make players like Mustafi look good in a structured system, imagine what he can with a talent like Tierney.

Just watched an interview with him and he said that there was a bid from Arsenal just after Rodgers came to Celtic, which was in 2016, so our interest in him goes back in time.
Can`t wait to have him back, such a refreshingly down to earth and professional character. Still think he will be a big player for us.
