Another bad performance, the pitch fork mob will be out for his blood
But they'd be better with tuning forks. Arteta just needs the right personnel on the pitch and he'll over perform.

There were some positives yesterday, if Tierney can stay fit his crossing is superb, Saka is transitioning well into a 1st team player, Pepe can dribble and shoot. That's at least 3 I'd keep bro

Arteta said the followign about squad building:

“First of all; what type of personality are you signing? Do they fit with your club culture? Yes? That’s the first tick.

“After quality-wise, what do you need? You need physicality, technical ability and specificity for certain positions.

“A squad player, what do you need? You identify that in terms of the year they are in. Are they in the development phase, are they in the twilight phase, are they in the peak phase? What do you need?

“From then on, you need to make the right decisions. Some of them are tough to take. Some of them people won’t understand them, but when you have a clear plan, that works.”

He knows what he wants. I don't think it matters who we are linked with. He has a plan for each scenario dependent on where we finish and the money we have. He knows who he wants to keep and who he wants to sell. Whether we approve or not is irrelevant.

He may want age and experience in certain positions. He may pick one player over another for a specific reason. All that matters is that he has a plan.

As long as the board and Arteta are in complete agreement over who's being signed. Because it clearly wasn't the case under Emery. The last thing we need is the board signing their own players. However the noises are that Arteta has final say so let's hope that's the case.a

Nice words and all that but our last three signings all come from the same agent. Agent that is also the agent of our technical director. Imo it raise many questions.

There are tons of bettee CB our there than Mari and Luiz for same prize. Same for Soares.

Arteta slowly but surely getting us back on track!

Hopefully Josh sees how good it has been with switching Emery out for Arteta and switch out Edu, Vinai, and Raul also.

While harsh I can understand your feelings towards Raul and Vinai but I don't get any animosity towards Edu at all. He arrived 3 weeks before the window shut last Summer, all targets would have been indentified months before and talks would have been at an advanced stage. The January window we only had the resources to bring in loans. Surely he deserves at least one transfer window before being judged as a failure already.

Ole making wee boys of Brighton. The table doesnt paint the full picture but we are miles of United. The most hateful club in the world with the most hateful fans are making us look like Renford rejects.

We completely outplayed them for 90 minutes the last time we met them - they are on a good run, but this overhyping is unreal.

Man United player for player is head and shoulders above our team. I'm not saying they are going to win the league next year. But to say its overhyping saying that they are playing some brilliant football and looking like a team going in the right direction. What's unreal about that?

It also appears whatever Ole has been doing in training is working.

Maybe because they both play No. 10 and are responsible for creating and scoring goals. One does it and the other doesnt. Hence one team looks dangerous going forward and are scoring goals for fun and the other struggling.

Add to the fact that overall Uniteds defence, Midfield and strikeforce is better than ours my original idea that United were way ahead of us stands. Nobody has came back to give a logical arguement otherwise.
