Ceballos has transformed my opinion of him over the last few months. I didn't think he would be able to adapt to the Premier League. His lack of athleticism and his propensity to dwell on the ball were significant flaws in his early months .

However, he has improved significantly on the latter. He moves the ball much quicker. He is still a slower player but he is playing with a huge intensity at the moment. Evidently his work on the training ground is paying off. Tireless is the only word to describe his defensive contributions. He presses with intelligence and conviction and wins a huge amount of duels for someone of his stature. It is also so welcome having a midfielder who can receive the ball in any position again. He always seems to be on the half turn which is so important as it buys you that extra second to progress play with a subsequent pass or dribble. I love the passion he has for the game too. You can tell he loves football.

For the rumoured price of under £25 million, this would be a good deal (loan next season with an option/obligation to buy). I'm looking forward to seeing him with a full pre-season under Arteta. Still only 23.

Real madrid bought him for 17m from real betis so they'll want to get back what they paid for him so the 20m euros fee make sense we have good relationship with Florentino Perez too so this could happen.

Him and Xhaka together will get ripped a new one against any decent side as they usually do.

What a difference 6 days can make, aye?

I was fuming with Ceballos after Brighton. His constant 360 turns were killing our counters. Then it’s like he flicked a switch. He’s releasing the ball a lot quicker. He’s making tackles, he’s creating chances with his passing.

If we can get him for £30M or under we should take him. He’s clearly a talented midfielder who will improve under Mikel.

Signing this guy seems a no-brainer atm. He didn't **** his pants against the two best teams in the land, and he's building a good rapport with Xhaka.

For £22,000,000 you thank Zidane for not wanting him, sign him up and hope he continues with the form he's on.

Don’t know why Real wouldn’t want him back, he’s still so young and they play with a CDM and two CM’s, Ceballos seems perfect for 1 of the 2 CM spots. Would love to keep him at Arsenal.

Leave Theo alone!!!
Of cos you sign him. Very few good players will sign for Arsenal once out of Europa.

Özil is aging and can't shoot from outside the box. Big difference compared to Bruno or Pogba as a CAM.

Guendouzi is too slow and too predictable on his passing. And he seldom tackles. Only pretends to shout orders.

Elneny is stale and obviously gone.

Xhaka has an unstable relationship with the club and may leave.

Torreira seem good as a sub atm.

Can try other midfielders but of course they may lack experiences.

This guy was terrible against Brighton and Southampton a few weeks ago, somehow he's completely turned it around since.

League is very weak
He’s showing some passion for the shirt, feels like he’s buying into what Arteta is doing here and doing for him.

I didnt want him but under a decent coaching set up, he's showing his real quality. His defensive nous and commitment has been outstanding and his attacking prowess has gone up a notch. If he can keep this level of consistency then he must stay.

Just wish he was a bit faster. Otherwise we need more players of his quality/intelligence to play Arteta ball.

Two big differences

- Arteta clearly focuses/focused on Dani during the matches afterward. Shouting instructions constantly. For a while you could hear *DANI DANI DANI* nearly every minute. In the last few matches this has gone down.

- He plays alongside Xhaka. Not Guendouzi. Experience, leadership and a greater sense of positioning gives comfort.
