He's 21. He needs to play and establish himself. Having guaranteed playing time and a manager that supports you at a usually Top 6 club in spain is a perfect opportunity rather than wasting away at the club that doesn't want you anymore or end up on the bench at a the biggest clubs.

If he was 26+ and had to think about opportunities ok. This isn't the case.

Actually Emery being there is a massive bonus for him, as he knows he will play him all the time...plus they are in the Europa, would've had some European spotlight on him too...would have been a pretty great move for him.

His value won't go up higher irrespective how he performs because once his loan spell ends, he'll be entering the final year of his contract, so atm loaning him out is not an option. Either find a buyer as best as you can or just give him an extension

Because he will be in his last year contract so value won't raise. And he clearly.wont sign a contract with us again after going through this and one year loaned.

And because we need money now, not next year.
