They mess it up when they didn't back Poch now they settle for short term building until a miracle happen and they have another Poch.
The only way they can get back to how they were under poch is get another poch-like manager and then follow the Leicester model.

Otherwise spending heavily on short term fix might prove to be a regrettable gamble they might struggle to recover from long after Maureen is gone.

Bale to Sp**s is done. Friend of mine who runs an estate agency has been showing him and his agent around homes in Hampstead the past couple of days.

So Sp**s with all their debt are signing Reguilon for £30M, to put in all the work to develop him, and if he fills his potential Real will swoop back in, say " Thank you very much " and sign him for only £5-10M more than Sp**s have paid?
Madrid right now have £30M extra to spend on a new player, while Sp**s have a young prospect who'll need to adapt to the league...

Sorry, but Madrid have absolutely done Sp**s here.:lol:

Is Bale to Sp**s actually happening? I haven't really been active today.
If it is then that is a very, very risky move. A fit and motivated Bale could be one of the best in the league, a genuine worry for teams he's playing against.... but when did we last see a fully fit and motivated Bale? And that wage when you've got stadium debt hanging over you is crazy. They miss out on the Champions League next season and they could be in big trouble financially!

Yeah the Reguillon deal seems like poor business from Sp**s. They bear all the risk with minimal upside. Best case scenario for them is that they overpaid by 5-10M and keep him as a long-term serviceable option.

Kind of hope they get Bale. He hasn't been a productive player since probably 2017/2018. At 31 years of age, seemingly unmotivated, and on massive wages, this could be a wonderful disaster class that puts them in real financial trouble.

Think the only problem they might have with him is fitness. The stuff surrounding real seem more of a contributor to him not plying than anything.

Hasn't he performed for Wales?
