Interesting, I think I also saw some analysis that said Ødegaard is actually better a bit further away from goal where he can get the ball and progress it to goal with a dribble or pass. I wouldn't have expected an Aouar comparison or that Ødegaard might suit a 4-3-3, I thought he'd be a 10 or a RW, but maybe that's another option.

Dodged a bullet with Aouar. He didnt pass the eye test AND the stats test so I was wondering what all the fuss is about with him. Having a poor season now. He's worth 20-25mill MAX

Yeah, he works very well as a third midfielder in a 3. It's why I would tentatively put ESR out on the left in that Nasri type interior attacking midfielder position. But as said, a ESR-Ødegaard-Saka 3 should allow for delicious interchange, fluidity, and movement.
