We had sides that could turn it on massively in that period, but I just watched a 2007 3-0 beating of Sp**s at the Emirates and the comm says 'Crisis? What crisis?' .... We were so in and out despite having such a high ceiling... But then I look at some of the back fours and we've had Gibbs and Silvestre present ffs.... Always something lacking somewhere!

Personally I liked how the drama built from 'WTF is going on, it was clearly offside' to 'hmmmm, surely not...' to 'qwerg4q5yvq45y45y4'.
It was a difficult one to call. The good thing is they got it right when before VAR it would have been chalked and an injustice. The bad thing was it was Chelsea who benefitted!

I think his life was so hard that once he really made it it was difficult for him not to put his feet up. He was very headstrong and confident though – if he wasn’t he definitely wouldn’t have made it. I’ve still got a soft spot for him despite him ending up clubs we ****ing hate! He gave us some glorious moments in some huge games.

I knew what you meant tbh. Yeah he could have had a longer career at the top level for sure. No real reason other than losing the hunger. That edge never comes back.
It's a tough one this, you'd think watching the Atalanta v Madrid game is the best choice cos Atalanta could really pull an upset there, but then I quite wanna check out Zakaria and Neuhaus at Gladbach.
