I think we'll start like this seeing as were not through yet:

-----------------Almunia----------------

--Eboue-----Gallas---Vermaelen--Traore--

--------Fabregas--Song--Denilson--------

---Walcott------Eduardo-----Arshavin----

Subs: Fabianski, Silvestre, Senderos, Ramsey, Nasri, Rosicky, Vela

Discuss......

I would play this.

Almunia
Eboue
Senderos
Vermaelen
Traore
Song
Nasri
Ramsey
Rosicky
Vela
Walcott

We are playing at home, and yes i know that are alot of changes but the Chelsea game is a must WIN

Hmm..

We will meet Chavs on Sunday. It would be tricky line up tbh.

I agreed, but we are at home, and this team is capable of winning from Liege. i would dare to say at least with 2--0.

Eduardo will surely start this one, he needs rhythm badly.

I expect three prong attack of Vela-Eduardo-Theo

Ramsey will start

Eboue and Traore at FB's

not sure about Cb's and other midfield spots.

Chelsea game is far more important as it is a must win.

i hate to say that.

A win here and we are through as winners of the group. So I'm guessing that Arsène will have more or less the same team as against Sunderland, perhaps with Arshavin taking the spot of Ramsey.

We're through to the knockout rounds already, are we not?

Code:
               Almunia

Eboue Senderos Silvestre Traore

      Nasri Denilson Rosicky

   Walcott Eduardo Vela

I'd like to rest both centrebacks, Sagna, Cesc and Song. Preferrably Arshavin starts on the bench too. Neither Rosicky nor Nasri played during the international round so they're fresh and should be able to handle at least 60 minutes here, and Denilson could use a run-out against weaker opposition at home.

Walcott and Vela looked good when they came on against Sunderland. They were just operating under the wrong circumstances, just like Eduardo was. With a more mobile and precise midfield and less sloppiness we will look much more lethal.

Arshavin should start, I'm getting tired of hearing "he needs a rest" or "isn't sharp enough". He will only get sharper by playig games and it is about time he steps up to the plate this season when we need him.

Not really. I thought so too but turns out we need a draw or favorable outcome elsewhere.

Almunia (?)

Eboue Gallas Vermaelen Traore

Cesc Ramsey Denilson

Theo Vela Arshavin

It looks good for me. At home we are still unbeatable anyways. I think we should give minutes to Denilson, who is our backup DM unfortunately, so he should get used to the position as early as possible.

Maybe Eduardo for Arshavin, Vela for the left wing, so Eduardo can practice more up front and get some confidence.

Thanks for clearing that up. Well, it's stupid to risk too much on tuesday then. Arshavin and one of the centrebacks should start. Otherwise I'd still go with the team I posted above.

If I was AW, i'd go with

-----------------------------Manny-----------------------------------
-------Traore-------Phil----------TV/Gallas--------Eboue-------------
-----------------------------Song-----------------------------------
--------------------Ramsey----------Fab-----------------------------
------Shava-------------------------------------Rosicknote/Nasri---
-----------------------------Eddie----------------------------------

I'd also make sure to give Denilson some playing time, as he should probalby start on Sunday.

I don't honestly know who will and should start this one. We have so many attacking options but each of them seems to have fitness problems. I'm not a fan of this rotation myself because the players will never play enough to create some harmony to get back to their best for the most important games. It's quite a big problem I have with having such a big squad. I would still like to see all Denilson, Walcott and Vela start. It's a meh game, but we need to gain some confidence for the weekend.

This is the team I'd go for

---------------------------Fabianski--------------------------------
-------Eboue-------Phil----------Silvest--------Traore-------------
-----------------------------Denilson-------------------------------
--------------------Ramsey----------Merida--------------------------
------Walcott--------------------------------------------Wilshere---
-----------------------------Vela----------------------------------

Should be enough to beat them

I want some serious rotation on this one. As much resting as possible, whilst giving players coming back from injury some game time. Pretty much any reasonable team we put out should win this.

However, I don't think wenger will do that, I think he'll go for:

--------------Al------------------

----Eboue---Gallas---Verm---Traore

-------------Denilson-------------

--------Fabregas------Ramsey------

---Walcott--------------------Vela----

--------------Eduardo-------------

So some rotation but I think he'll keep Gallas and Vermaelen together. I'd rather Cesc had a rest, but I don't think AW will do that.

Our first team nearly lost to them in Liege. We can't piss about with a team like that when we aren't even through yet.

It could well still beat them, but we cannot take the chance and I'm certain Wenger won't put out a team like that.
