A call for realism

At least one new striker and a physical central midfielder are an absolute must.

I'd be happy with that and no other ins and outs except for the guys coming to the end of their contract, of which Fabianski will need replacing. I still hope we can keep Sagna, although it's not looking good.

I think Podolski is happy here and we should keep him. Vermaelen is probably less happy as he's not involved much at all.

In an ideal but realistic world...

INS:

Backup GK
Starting DM
Starting ST
LW to compete with Pod/Santi and cover the ST...a pacy, tricky type
Young backup CB

OUTS:

Bendtner
Fabianski

Even if Vermaelen and/or Pod leave, were still ok. If Sagna leaves w'ell need a new starting RB too.

We definitely need a natural winger, it's almost as important as the striker and centre mid for me. We have no width and dribbling ability.
