Part of me thinks the ratings are a bit beside the point...but hey!!!!!!!

Al-9- sensational and faultless- was quicker off his line than a ... quick ...thing

Sagna-9-sensational and faultless

Gallas-9- sensational and faultless (in the interview he talks about the team as ‘his players’!)

Senderos-8- sensational and faultless (except for once or twice)

Clichy-9- sensational and faultless

Eboue-8- very good, direct, should have scored

Cesc-10- sensational and faultless and even more sensational, not just the goal- but the tackles!!- ran the show)

Flams-10- sensational and faultless and nearly as good as cesc

Diaby-8- did very well, retains the ball too long for an arsenal player but there you go

Hleb-8- fantastic, left the game for periods of time though

Ade-10- lead the line impeccably, got a deserved goal, perfect display

Theo-9- what determination for the assist! - and some great defensive play as well

Gilberto-i’ve said it before, if he was prepared to play that role at the club he’d be a fantastic asset!!



Ref was a bit of a Willie.....ac Milan had sooo many free kicks in dangerous areas- they did us a favour by taking them all short and not chucking them in the area over us

And the best celebrator was jens!!!

Linked up well a lot of the time and scored his first champions league goal

Came on and did Eboue's job, but better. Great assist after being taken down, tracked back better than Eboue too.

Gilberto - 6
Came on and helped slow the game down, took the sting out of any Milan backlash


Wenger - 8
Good tactics and decision to bring Walcott on made just at the right time. Not too much long ball either.

Referee - 2
Was terrible in my opinion. Gave at least 70% of Milan's fouls for little to nothing, wrongfully booked Hleb and Clichy.

Well he didn't actually make any real saves tonight and kicking was poor, so I gave him an average score.

If there was ever a 10/10 display from a player it was from cesc fabregas. Possible his best game in a arsenal shirt, and thats saying alot. He was the difference tonight and over the two legs his class really did shine.

Best central midfield pairing in Europe we have with Flamini and Fabregas. Flamini is the most under rated player in the world right now. He's way better than the likes of Hargreaves, Mascherano, Carrick, etc
