Yes, he was very fair for the most part.. but he did blatantly protect us at times.

Yeah, I've seen him a couple of times before and the reason I took notice of him was because I didn't really notice him, so to say. He's not putting himself in the limelight by being controversial. I thought he was very good tonight. Ge did give a soft to Vermaelen for a challenge that Falcao made a meal out of but other than that it was a great performance. The contrast to a **** like Hansson couldn't be bigger. I hope UEFA took notice. This is the kind of ref they want for the final.

I thought Vermaelen and Nasri were top quality. And if Song can iron out the little errors of judgement he'll be the be the best in the world in his position. He's a beast, but he's also capable of some excellent subtle touches.

Sagna and Clichy wound the clock back to 07/08 a bit, too. Completely dominated the wide areas with their energy and athleticism.

All that said, still think we played most of the game in third gear.

Well here we goes then:

Almunia - 6 Shanking the ball as usual. Scary punch that one time, where does he learn this stuff?

Campbell - 7 Bit shaky initially but settled in quite well.
Vermaelen- 9 ***** What is this guy? No really, he's not human. Excellent every bloody game.
Sagna - 7.5 Solid as ever defensively. Good to see him back on his game.
Clichy - 7.5 (see Sagna)

Song - 6.5 Kept it simple. Decent game
Diaby - 7 Decent performance.
Rozza - 6 Quiet game, a bit disappointed he wasn't showing much more leadership out there. Still playing well within himself.

NASRI- 9 ***** Now this is what I'm talking about. His critics and Hleb lovers can go to hell. Kid's got the dribbles and the finishing. Hope he can play centrally more often and strike a balance with Fabregas when the Captain comes back. Great game. Great goal.

Arshavin - 8. The midget loves the Champion's league. You could tell from the first minute that he was going to be pivotal to how this game turned out. Lots of responsibility on his shoulders as a star player in Fabregas' absence. He didn't disappoint.

Bendtner - 5 not so **** tonight.. Kidding. He gets an 8 as well. Used his height and presence well. Worked tirelessly upfront, and most importantly, he scored 3 goals! Well done!
