We should play the same line-up against wolves with eboue playing instead of sagna. Should press them from the start and try not give the ball away too much. Barcelona currently doing well with 16 straight wins in la liga.

Wow, this was quick!

I'm slightly bothered by the ice on RvP's knee, but hopefully he should be good to go.

Bah, I'm not going to be able to watch this. :(

Messi and co will give us a game though, no doubt. Question is, are Djourou, VP and Wilshere going to the difference this year that will allow us to get the home win?

Gawd I hope so. I have far more confidence in the team this year, compared to last.

Same lineup as tonight, lets do em.

Last year's lineup was

Sagna Gallas(Song) Vermaelen Clichy

Diaby Cesc Song (Denilson)

Nasri Bendtner Arshavin (Eboue)

The brackets denote the players who finished the game but I say we're better equipped this season than last.

why worry about a telly channel - just go to it like i am!

You lucky bastard! :(

Sagna is a blow to us, but we can approach this game with a lot more confidence than last year. Get Nasri on when Arsh tires in the second, he could be devastating at home against a tiring and weakened Barca defense.

Clearly the underdogs, but we have a significantly better chance than last year. Nothing to lose, just have a go at them. If we get an early goal, anything can happen.

So we're missing Nasri and Sagna, while they're missing Puyol and ?

------The big Woj------
-Eboue-Mango-Kos-Clichy
---Wilshere---SOng---
--------Cesc---------
--Theo----------Arsh---
--------RVP-------

vs.

------Valdes--------
-Alves--Pique-Abidal-Maxwell
------Busquets---Iniesta---
----------Xavi--------
--Messi---Villa----Pedro

That the line ups? Think we'll see Mascherano?

Going to see this one, will be a tense night but hopefully a great game in which we end up victorious.

Has Masch been a regular for them this season? If not then I don't think they'd make changes against us, they'd rather play to their strength like what we do.

17 starts, 8 subs from a total of 36 games.....doubt we'll see him, and honestly I'm glad.

In comparison to how we started the home leg last season we're stronger in goal this time around,
the back four is weakened due to Sagna's absence,
midfield is as strong if not stronger with the addition of Wilshere,
RvP adds another dimension and we know that Walcott can cause them problems.

We have quality players who can hurt them, we just need to hold our nerve.

Been offered an executive box for this game, but it all depends on work :(

With Sagna suspended for the first leg, I expect to see something like this:

- - - - - - - - - - - - Szczesny - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
- Eboue - - - Djourou - - - Koscielny - - - Clichy -
- - - - - - - - - Song - - - - - Wilshere - - - - - - - -
- Walcott - - - - - - Fabregas - - - - - - Arshavin –
- - - - - - - - - - - - Van Persie - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Think it’ll end 2-0.
