It's a shame for Calum that he has picked up such a serious injury and just when he was getting a good run in the team,
It's going to be a long road back to fitness and hopefully it won't affect his game too much when he gets back on the pitch.

Bad, bad news! Let's hope he makes a speedy recovery. Hopefully his character and style of play is such that the injury will not set him back too much. Thankfully treatment of sports injuries has developed really well over the last 20-30 years and an ACL injury isn't what it was even a couple of decades ago. Looking forward to seeing him play and start for us again!

Maximum respect for Calum’s persistence in getting into the team again. Gutted for him. Such **** timing, not that there’s ever good timing for an ACL rupture. Get well soon!

Why so serieuse?
Bad luck for Chambers and Arsenal. It seems that as soon as a defender shows promise and gets close to the first team they go down. It was Holding last year, it's chambers this year.

Bellerin, Holding and Chambers all with ACL injuries in relatively quick succession. That’s such terrible luck. It’s actually scary how easily done it is.

Get well soon Cal.

Terrible hot takes
Transfermarkt only list One other injury for Chambers

A foot injury, but wasnt he injured a couple of years ago to?, i mean like a major requiring surgery thing, back issues?

The guy was never fast to begin with

Being linked with a 12m move to Fulham apparently. Think it's a lazy link but it makes sense as he did well for them on loan.

Lazy link. Players rehabbing from ACLs don't get sold. Too much risk for the buying club.

Look at holding and Bellerin's struggles this season.

That will be Chambers this season. There's a good versatile player in there. No need to sell
