I would have Benteke over Giroud. The main reason being that both are good in the air generally from crosses but Benteke has pace to get in behind too. We're always compensating for that when we have Giroud in the team.

Sturridge v Walcott isn't even a debate.

Benteke v Giroud, you give the edge to Benteke given his tremendous scoring record in a more limited environment than Giroud.

Theo needs to stay fit and actually do something at CF over a period of time, Sturridge has scored goals from CF all his career.

Remy is personal preference, can understand disagreement there but I wouldn't have much between him and Giroud either way. He's actually been pretty impressive whenever he plays for Chelsea tbh.

Benteke is a much better player than Giroud.

Since this thread is bumped Ive got to get something off my chest.

I'm still annoyed that when Gibbs equalized, he rarely scores, yet he let out a celebrate for a quick second but he looked to get back towards the center circle and get back to business for the win right away. Giroud on the other hand ran over to celebrate like Arsenal won the CL and tried to hold Gibbs there to celebrate the goal....which he the goalscorer was no longer looking to celebrate himself.


Home game, vs your big rival, when 3 points would put us top for the first time...a draw wasn't good enough and Gibbs understood that, the rest of the team understood that (nobody else was celebrating with Gibbs, Flamini rushed to get the ball out of the net), but Giroud our starting CF missed that/didnt understand that and was busy doing a knee slide. It annoys me.
