League is very weak
Football is funny though. How would Parlour be viewed if he played in 2013 or something? Or if Walcott played in 2002.

Sagna was Bissaka before Bissaka.

He was in the Vieira era though.

Didn’t the guy say Ramsey was our best centre mid since we signed Vieira though, which isn’t true.

Also, Petit and Cesc arrived after Paddy, and were better too.

Depends how you look at it, Cesc yeah. Petit was here for a few seasons in a strong team, Ramsey on the other hand our highest scoring midfielder ever.

It’s like if you played in ‘98 or 2002 you’re an automatic legend and if you played later you’re not worthy of comparison.

Think guys like Sagna, Ramsey, Walcott, Sanchez, Özil, RvP etc deserves their dues.

Right Sometimes
Is this merely based on football or also a matter of off the pitch qualities ?

Football wise, RVP probably just edges Cazorla, but overall I'd go with Cazorla

Özil lives rent-free in my head
Van Persie, followed by Sanchez all day long for football ability and impact. They both carried the team single handedly at times. Left in not great circumstances, especially Sanchez but both great players for Arsenal. Cazorla next after them. Another great player in his way who made us tick but never carried the team like the other two.

None of our current players make that top 50 list, lets be real here. Nowhere near and would struggle to pick one from the last 15 years in honesty.
