Good lad Bellerin, slowly revving up and gaining momentum. Like some of his dribbles and use of the ball today, much more assured.

Was a little sloppy with his touch early on but turned it on as the game progressed. It always helps when your RB can run with the ball & nutmeg people for fun:lol:
He came back from a long injury lay off, don't know why people wrote him off

Thought he didn’t offer a lot going forward but was really good going the other way.

Yeah, Bellerin is actually a pretty solid player defensively. Definitely seems to turn up in the big games too.

At the moment I'd say he's a 6/10 RB for a top club. Not spectacular in any sense, but a solid all-round defender with a great engine on him.

Whisper it, but I don’t actually think we’ve seen the best of him either. Think there’s another level to his game when he gets that match-fitness and sharpness back.

His technique looked pretty crisp today. Some nice dribbles and passes. Hopefully he stays fit, would keep him unless we get like 35-40 mil for him.
Yeah, the writing off of Bellerin is one of the more annoying trends of late. Still a good player in there, just needs to find his stride and get a bit of motivation. Can still be a very reliable performer for us.

Yeah there was a moment yesterday early on when he received the ball with open field and Robertson wasn’t fully out to cover him.

Five years ago he’d have run him on the outside off the dribble. Didn’t even try it though and just played it back inside. You wonder if it’s maybe just confidence, he still looks to carry some speed at times.

Called it a few years back that he’ll end up being a decent two-way if not slightly defensive RB while many on here were expecting him to be the next Dani Alves.

Him not being the attacking talent that people (for some reason) expected + the slow recovery from an ACL injury has hammered his stock but the real ones know.

Hecccy B still has got the sauce.
The three FB options that are legit are Heccy, KT and AMN.

Would love to get rid of Cedric and Kola...

And then get say Aarons and Reguillon to have elite FB options to cover for Tierney whilst AMN would be on his way to try as a specialist DM-CM type of role where his marathon lungs would be put to good use.

Bogle rather than Aarons for me. I like Aarons but I think Bogle will go onto be the better RB. Taller, quick, extremely skilful, decent technique, slightly better defensively. Only major issue with him is that for an attacking FB, he doesn't cross that well - but I think he can be devastating on cut-backs. Alternatively, we have a young RB coming up in Oyegoke who could be extremely promising. Similar to Bogle in that he's a tall, quick defender who can dribble and is technically capable.

Ideally Cedric goes but that's not an option at least until next Summer. Same with Kola, hopefully he goes, and I'd definitely look at a LB at some point, maybe a young deputy for Tierney, like 18/19 or so.

Would be happy with either Aarons or Bogle.
Same on the left side with Reguillon or another similar alternative.

My reasoning here is that the FB is just such a purely physically demanding position to play in today's game, would love to preserve both Hector and Tierney, whilst also getting alternatives in terms of young, offensive FBs who we can employ against sides that will defend against us.

I see us coming in a situation where if we cut ourselves short on such a position, we end up in a bind like F1 drivers who squeeze every ounce of their tires, that 's how the game is on the FB.

We are used to seeing these unprofessional acts from Bellerin now. Like the time he kept video himself getting pissed with Arsenal fans on hoilday all summer long and came back into the season out of shape and heavily overweight. Took Bellerin about 10 weeks into the season to shift the beer belly and lost his pace ever since ( Bellerin fan girls pretend its from his injury but he lost his pace a year before that).

Mate, you were wrong about Whyte and now you're spouting rubbish again about Bellerin. Get a grip already.
