This is seriously disappointing.. How can you not make Özil behind Laca/auba work.. Should have been a match made in heaven..

The one positive is that Emery has been decisive on this issue. Unlike Moyes who tried to shoehorn Rooney into the side after giving him a huge contract, to the detriment of the team.

It's personal. I would bet money on it - and I never bet money.

I think this is all premature tbh. Or at least I hope it is. Aside from Sp**s, we've looked better with Mesut playing.

He’s getting £350k a week to play fortnite.

I can’t see any club going for him, I think we are stuck with him.

    i love Mesut

I think we've looked better with him in the team...

I hope this isnt the end. I'm hoping this is like what pep did with aguero…because he went from being dropped for being a bit complacent- back to being the best player in the team

it makes the decision to take ramsey's offer off the table more crazy though- I saw that as a direct Mesut-or-ramsey decision. if you don't punt for one- surely you do the other?

Probably the worst “world class” player we have had in recent years

I think this is premature. It's a big possibility that Özil is still not match fit. Özil was very "wooden" against Southampton and there's a feeling that he still needs time to get into duels normally.

Özil on his best days is wonderful, but maybe emery needs a more hard working type. Hate seeing özils lack of pressure

Can't be arsed. Is a liability against any big side and specially away from home.

Sad that we cant utilize such a talent and are playing with Iwobi instead.

I am starting to get pissed off with Emery now. In what world you leave Özil and play Ramsey, miki and Iwobi instead.

    Baffling.

Emery prefers Iwobi, Ramsey and Mkhitaryan to Mesut Özil.

Sorry to say because I had big hopes for him but Emery is a fraud. Spanish Mourinho. Should have got Sarri instead. Out.

i think it is totally the opposite, ramsey is emery type of player but still we are letting him go.
I think we are seriously over budget on wages and are trying to let go off all players who are earning or due to earn very high wages.

Wenger didn't use his potential coz he didn't sign them mobile strikers.

Emery has the strikers but isn't playing him Now.

Baffling how Arsenal isnt built around Özil.

Maybe he can represent the gunners in the E-league.
