...And that's exactly why he should be sacked. This is a huge job and we can't afford to be a new manager's training wheels. So in this scenario, he doesn't get a free pass, just because he's "inexperienced".

I don't understand the logic either. Some people think that's a valid defence when that just sounds like just another great reason he should be sacked.
