Meh he has had 2 decades of addiction. I don’t feel sorry for him. The real victim are his family.
Same, calling it a disease removes all self accountability from it too.
Yes it's sad, but it's entirely his own doing, as you say the true victims are the lived ones that have to mop up the mess.
