We all knew Sherwood would be a **** about it, but I'm genuinely sick of Merson and his negativity towards us - he couldn't wait to praise Sp**s during " The Debate " and, again, claim that we're not good enough.
Although when the two of them were wanking over Sp**s and downplaying our unbeaten run and that we've conceded 5 goals more than them, they, conveniently, never mentioned that Sp**s have lost more games than us! But obviously that's not important.

It was hard to watch that cringe punditry. Forget about Sherwood, at one point Merson slated Arsenal’s defense for letting 16 goals and casually said Man Utd only let 6 goals this season. His face was priceless when he was told that they let 21 goals in and have a negative goal difference.

Hope Aubameyang finally delivers in a proper big game.

Can't criticise him atm for his contribution to important goals this season, Bournemouth and Palace I think? Maybe another? But he's got to end this draught vs the top 6 and the NLD would be the perfect start. Needs to take his chance when he gets it.

From this fixture a year ago i remember both germans having 10/10 performances, hopefully it will be so again. Both crucial players for us.

They are remarkably confident considering we've only lost 3 of our last 34 league matches at home and two of those were against City. It will be a very tight game, hopefully Aubameyang can step up as Aurier is rubbish. No mistakes from Xhaka and Mustafi please.

Just like the Liverpool game their fans actually think that none of our players get in their starting XI

Edit: One of those matches we lost was the stupid game against United where we battered them and should've had two pens.

Got a horrible feeling we're going to get smashed here. One of those games where everything will go wrong.

Sp**s are a better side than us and when Emery loses to Pochettino he tends to lose big.

That part was comedy goal.
When Merson was corrected about United conceding 21 this season, Merson said " It must of been 6 in March " to again be corrected that the season started in August.
Like you said - the look of genuine confusion on his face was priceless!

TBF, in one of his two losses to Poch he had a Europa League tie v Atletico a few days later so he rotated quite a bit.

Sp**s have won **** all for ever, so screw them and screw Sky’s roster of low rent football has beens. Sherwood’s arse is still hurting from that time we stuck 13 goals past Villa in 9ne season including the FA cup...
Sherwood is the last person Sky should be employing as a pundit, there's a reason he failed as a manager - he's a total *****. Picking Dier over Torreira as the holding mid because " he'll do a better job " get in the bin, ****ing cretin.

Even though there were 22 different players on the pitch at the time? Maybe there’s stuff about football I just don’t understand. :p

Dean refereeing, @OnlyOne too lazy to start the match thread again . . . the omens are poor.

But Merson says only two Arsenal player will make the Sp**s squad. Just need Adam Crafton to follow suit and the omens will then be balanced out.
