As opposed to rugby where players get tackled and get up and carry on as if nothing has happened?

Arsenal started so well but they fell away very quickly - they were poor. A more dominant display from Burnley who showed great character and good strenght.

It was this sort of attitude from the likes of BBC that led to heavy tackles on us being tolerated and ammo for banter, in the buildup to the Eduardo and Ramsey leg breaks. They're at it again.

A pretty eventful goalless draw considering all the gilt-edged chances!

Dont know if Dyche is a racist but he’s without a doubt a massive thundercvnt.

Ever since the invincibles fell apart and Wenger started using smaller, more technical players there’s always been this strange agenda against us from opposing clubs and pundits. The one where when we get kicked/challenged and go to ground or get injured it’s simply our own fault because we’re a bunch of weak foreigners. And now refs simply allow clubs to kick our players out of a match. Most clubs get a lot of protection from the refs but we never do. The Saka challenge on his knee is a prime example. Should be a yellow without doubt. Knee on knee knocks can really cause a lot of damage.

All the VAR sh1thousery just adds a whole new dimension to it because the situations they should be looking at that could favor us are simply ignored. Like the Laca(?) offside. Why not keep playing and check after? It seems like a small moment but if we score it could just as well be game over in a tight match like this one.

The fact that those Stoke butchers were allowed to harass Ramsey for getting his leg broken by one of their neanderthals makes it clear enough theres a huge agenda against us. VAR has only made that more clear. I for one cant understand the club isnt making serious work of the VAR system. Or perhaps they are and it’s just not made public.

    Exactly this.
VAR also goes against us as people believe that if VAR dont look at it then it was never a foul in the first place. Also VAR can make a bad decision (most probably against us) to take the heat off other moments in the match which allows people to forget other issues which dont get shown.

I remember Saka being booked for a a “dive” earlier this season after being scythed down. Its blatant and yet never gets mentioned.

VAR has only enhanced this consistent agenda against us. If Im wrong (which i really hope i am) then we should be making top4 as we are due at least half a season of VAR/penalty shouts going in our favour to even out all the bad/costly decisions.

Didn’t we have some crazy stat about how we win the least penalties over the course of a season?

Don't be a moron. Rugby players are conditioned to take huge impacts to the body. That's the nature of the sport.

Dyche's tactic is working which is why after the repeated fouls by Utd, someone in our club should have spoken up. The time to rightly complain after a win cant be called sour grapes. There's no brain power anywhere in the club it seems.

To whoever was the mod doing this:

You might not be far of from a spot as VAR ref. Good work protecting a Burnley troll who comes to the forum to talk some trash straight after an undeserved, referee aided draw for them.

Nothing I wrote that doesn’t apply to that whole Burnley lot! I know they are a bunch of snowflakes though so might be best to not attack them.

All this excess physicality was started by Fergie. Post Invincibles, we were still unstoppable and Fergie in an interview said "can't someone kick them...". His good friend Allardyce did just that. He kicked us out of two title challenges iirc. The rest is history. We need to confront this properly.

Why am I not surprised, a Burnley fan bringing rugby into the conversation. It's your style of play after all.

Breaks in football on here are so weird. Everyone goes a bit mad. Much prefer transfer windows where its funny mad rather than depressing mad.
