The man's not top dog in Jersey for nothing. He knows there's only so much Angeball can do in the face of a superior outfit

Seeing as I've contributed massively to our season by shepherding the matchday thread against the denizens of the lost & the damned, I figured I should lend some of my gloss to AM once again as I will our beloved Gunners on to victory. Don't know why I'm even bothering as Google seem to think it's a foregone conclusion.

We must be vigilant against this lot, they pushed us all the way last season & they play good football, so we should not slacken in the slightest. But, after the magnificent showing today, I think it's fair to say with a good bit of rest, we should have all the tools to dismantle them if we remain calm.

I certainly am looking forward to this guy losing his rag like he did in the 97th minute last season

In any case, we're on the cusp of greatness & we have a chance to heap further pressure on 115 Charges FC who, hopefully, won't have it all their way.

God willing, we'll take them all the way to the final Sunday. It is our burden, it is our destiny!!

I can almost guarantee you that if it were an Arsenal player making that challenge yesterday he would've been sent off:

It's hard not to come to the conclusion that Arsenal are refereed differently when it comes to these incidents.

I forgot about the Vieira one. I didn't have many complaints at the time but look at some of the decisions since...

It's always been one rule for Arsenal, another for everyone else.

-Martinelli two yellows in quick succession against Wolves
-Tomiyasu red vs Palace
-Arteta booking vs. Luton

We've not seen anything like those incidents for any other team.

League is very weak
Is it? Where does it say that in the rules, can you point out the specific section to me?
No, first you show me where the a Saka type incident was given a red?

This place have been crying about it but nobody can show me a similar incident resulting in a red.

I just showed you Fabio Vieira get sent off for the same challenge.

You're just dismissing it because it ruins your entire argument.

I don't know how anyone can dispute that should have been a red card for the foul on Saka.

It's one of the worst ref /VAR decisions of the whole season.

Tbqh I was a bit disappointed Arteta didn't bring it up in his post match comments + all the other red card worthy challenges on our players in the last couple of games which have gone unpunished. Though I suspect it's because he and the club at this stage just want the focus to be winning our remaining games and avoiding another media circus.

What really grates me is that if it were an Arsenal player making that challenge, he would have been sent off. It's hard not to think we aren't refereed differently in this league when it comes to tackles. The fact Christie didn't even receive a booking was even more galling. Especially so as Havertz got booked for effectively challenging for an aerial duel.

League is very weak
How and why does that make a difference? Please explain this to me.
Because if a leg is planted then there is no give, you could break the leg in half. Like Diaby and Eduardo.

If the leg is dangling, there is give and you can ride the challenge.

The first one is a straight red. It’s simple stuff mate.

Arsenal Quotes

It is well known the referees are protected very well like the lions in the zoo so we have to live with their decisions
