Djourou: Stepanovs
That's pretty harsh, we've just kept a clean sheet at a club who've spent hundreds of millions on top class players. I didn't catch most of the first half, but surely if he'd been Stepanovs bad we'd have at least conceded a couple?

Fabianski MOTM. Nasri second MOTM. What a finish. Song's as well. Had a poor first half along with Djourou and Clichy. Rest did their bits.

Fabianski: 10 Man of The Match, class throughout. I'm sorry I doubted you Fabianski. Wenger knows

Sagna: 8 Typical Sagna performance. Always good, Always consistent

Djourou: 5 4th choice center back

Squillaci: 6 Pretty composed and collected

Clichy: 7 Are we seeing the old Clichy return?

Song: 8 Plays the holding role! Scores the occasional goal. Keep putting in those 2nd half type performances and the DM position is his to keep

Fabregas: 7 He is just Fabtastic, aside from the penalty miss he bossed proceedings

Denilson: 8 He was great in midfield today, kept things ticking over nicely and all in his first premier league start this season to boot. Well done Denilson

Arshavin: 7

Chamakh: 7 Missed a sitter but all in all a tidy performance

Nasri: 9 Finally showing his true colours. A classy little player and one of the first names on the team sheet these days

Special mentions

Rosicky- 7
Walcott- 6
Bendnter- 9 for the goal alone

The tidal wave of stress and anger that lifted from gunners around the world when Song smashed the second goal home was ****ing fantastic.

Fabianski MOTM could so easily of been one nil down inside the opening seconds of the game but he pulled stop after stop today brilliant, it's also ****ing mental as thats the third time I've given MOTM to Fabianski this season... what the ****s going on?

Fabianski - 9

Clichy - 7

Squill - 7

Won me a hundred bucks 8)) *Purrrrrr*

Fabianski deserves a pay raise.

First clean sheet away from home since forever.

Nasri was magnificent.

Song took his goal well, and was generally quite good. My only criticism is he could have put Chamakh through on a couple of occasions, but chose the safer pass to the wings.

Our defending once again worries me. Still scatterbrained.

Great win.

You took your time, Klaus. I've been waiting for ages.

Fabianski 7/10
Good handling, distribution was excellent and relieved alot of pressure off the team.

Sagna 7/10
Alot of energy going forward, and some good crosses.

Squillaci 6/10
Solid.

Djourou 5.5/10
Very shaky at times.

Clichy 7/10
Other than the time Richards troubled him down the flank, he dealt well with everything down his side.

Denilson 7.5/10
Can improve his defensive play, but his one touch passing was immaculate. Kept the ball moving effortlessly.

Song 7/10
Good finish, but I'm not sure what he offers us at the moment in his position.

Cesc 7.5/10
Not at his best, but that run to setup Chamakh was outstanding.

Nasri 8/10
Super Sam's best performance as a forward, direct, confident and provided both penetration and a passing option.

Arshavin 4/10
Exactly why he shouldn't start the big games. They exploited us every time he made a mistake, which was going at a rate of one per minute.

Chamakh 6/10
Shocking finish when setup, but linked up well and won another important decision.

Can't argue with the poll options really, anyone of Nasri, Song or Fabianski could deservedly be given MoTM, I went for Song since it was a real upturn in form.

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas: "I missed a penalty, how can I be man of the match?!"

Well, quite Cesc.

I was a bit concerned with the left side of our D. Lukasz was very good, his best I remember seeing. I also like how our mids and forwards provided backup for the D. If they had been able to score and make it 1-1, I don't know what would have hapened. Great to get a win against a big team. The heart of their midfield didn't look very good.

What the hell, I'm giving it to Fabianski, first clean sheet in yonks and generally looked assured.

Other notables are Nasri, Cesc, Song and Denilson.

Not a single positive thing we did defensively today was down to Djourou, unfortunately. It was the worst performance I've seen from an Arsenal defender for many years. Worse than Silvestre's entire Arsenal career. Don't take no joy i saying it either; I felt relieved when we got him back in the summer. This was just plain terrible though.

Fabianski-9- thought he was excellent- saved everything that came his way and commanded his area, also very quick off his line. Had a few good games now- will give credence to the ‘has fabianski turned a corner?’ theory

Sagna-7

Squid-7

Djourou-6- couple of errors but just about got away with it

Clichy-7- very good- had some ideas offensively too

Song-8- great and fantastic goal

Denilson-8.5- thought he was brilliant; I love him in our midfield 3, he epitomises our general game

Cesc-8- ran the show, also his interview- ‘I missed a penalty! How can I be man of the match?’

Nasri-9- player of the season, another awesome game

Arshavin-7- worlds strangest player, looked lazy and sloppy but got his assist

Chamakh-7- played his role well

Rosicky-6
Bendtner-8- excellent finish
Theo-6

I was very happy with us today, even without possession when mancity looked to have the upper hand we were solid. We were also mature in avoiding getting anyone sent off after all the yellows. Obviously against 10 men we would be expected to win, I think we were patient, disciplined, and reasonably clinical. Good stuff.
