The hate against him is really annoying.
The guy is giving 100% for the club whenever he steps on the pitch.
His confidence is at rock bottom and the fans put the knife into the wound whenever possible. Is that what a fan does!? Do you not care that he feels the hate surrounding him? You think that helps the situation at all?
Fans fail so badly these days, instead of being part of something bigger creating an atmosphere where players get a lift they do the opposite and push down at every opportunity.

I knew with him starting it would cost us. He can be a decent defender in games but he always has a t least 1 horrific mistake a game that causes us to concede.

Why you getting all emotional about a player who repeatedly screws us over getting criticism, as if we're a pack of wolves or something? This is sport ffs. Nobody's calling him a child molester, but you chime in and desperately try and make into something it isn't , with this pathetic moral high ground card. I'm neither swiss nor albanian nor german or wherever he is from.
Hating and insulting our own players and bring their confidence down like that is just pathetic, what do you want to accomplish?
How about going inside instead of slashing out blaming others?
A big reason why Mustafi is in this situation lacking confidence being scared to make mistakes are Arsenal fans. That is ridiculous. We should make players better with our support, not worse with hate, blame and insults.

This is a football forum on the internet. Thought I'd just remind of you that....
What do you suggest we, as fans on the internet, do to reduce the chances of him repeatedly--like ever since he arrived here--putting the rest of his teammates in the sh!t?
He's not sh!t because of us, and he's not going to improve because of us.
It's very simple then; he's not good enough for us physically or mentally and needs a fresh start somewhere.
Why doesnt he take that opportunity considering he used to start at a La Liga side (and here) as well as having a world cup medal? Why has he accepted his position as comedic player instead of trying to build up his career?
If he left I would have nothing but the best wishes for him to do well because I know he struggled mentally at the Emirates, but this is a big boy game and thats how the cookie crumbles. They are paid for results. If they cant handle it they can move down a bracket (i.e. a weaker team / weaker league) and still make a handsome living.

People posting in the biggest fan forums, fans in the stadium, people posting on twitter all play their part spreading toxicity or positive energy.
Arsenal fans unfortunately spread negativity everywhere and you are a part of it, believe or not.
Wenger, Özil, Xhaka, Mustafi and many more. The level of hate is unbelievable.
I think some people need to join knitting forums, football isnt cut out for them clearly.

Sorry mate, but this hasnt been his first and won't be his last mistake leading to a **** show from Mustafi. This is his norm.
Feels horrible that we have to play him at defence unless we can get Luiz' card overturned.
Mustafi refuses to take reponsibility for his mistakes, he always put his hands to his hips and looks to others. That's his first reflex in these situations.
Just look at Xhaka, had one foot out the door and managed to claw it back with Artetas help and by putting in a shift.
Mustafi has had ample time to turn it around, but he always, ALWAYS finds a way to **** himselft and the team up.
We tried more than once to offload him, even going as far as telling him he wouldn't be playing much, but he decided to stay put because he has a nice contract at Arsenal.
I hope he finds some form, but do it elsewhere, because he's done at this level.
