Arsenal are said to be lining up a £12m offer for Juventus winger Stephan Lichtsteiner.

The Swiss international has impressed Arsène Wenger during the two Scudetto-winning campaigns in Turin.

According to TMW, the Gunners are among the favourites to sign Lichtsteiner as a replacement for Bacary Sagna.

The 29-year-old has been suggested as one of the players who could be sold to raise funds for new buys, including Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

Others potentially on the market include Mirko Vucinic and Claudio Marchisio.

Winger? he's a right back, awful journalism.
Agreed, although his teamsheet position is a RM with them playing 3-5-2, he acts as a wingback.
They have been linked to Cuadrado repeatedly(possible replacement)

Really good RB, I'm not sure why he'd move from Juve when they're going so well though. Also I wonder how he'd cope from changing from being treated like a robot in Juve's tactical system compared to the freedom at AFC. Plus he plays as a wing back doesn't he?

Great player, obviously would prefer Piszczek though but beggars can't be choosers.

Why would he want to join us though?

Posting links is pointless at the moment. Why bother? Just tune in at the end of the window and we'll know. it's all bs until then.
