How many were sub, where he was getting a few minutes after an injury return etc. Played 150 league games in 7 years, that’s like 20 league games a year.

Yeah he does seem to have a lot of niggly injuries where he misses a few games. Had 6 injuries during that spell over last two seasons
But his big injuries were a good few years ago now when he moved to Bayern 2013-2015
Would be a doubt on the fitness front

His injuries aren't an issue now. Like saying RVP shouldn't have joined United because he had a bad injury spell 5 years prior. Doesnt make sense.

He had 2 big injuries in his first two seasons at Bayern but that was like 5 years ago since then he hasnt had any significant injury.

Piece on Liverpool’s interests in Thiago. Apparently everyone in Munich expects him to move to Liverpool, and he is just waiting for them to make their move.
Some leading figures in the game think Man City could also be an option, although Thiago’s relationship with Pep isn’t great, and he is much keener on Liverpool.

The Partey story was in Sport which is a **** source. I don’t think anything changes with Partey. We want him and to get him we need to pay the release clause. Aouar interest has only really been reported by L’Equipe so the links aren’t that strong anyway but the talk of us having no interest came from some bellend on Twitter.

It is starting to get quite scary. The league season starts in just over 2 weeks, & given we have no Ceballos yet we are actually weaker than we were in midfield than when we finished the season. Hope things start moving soon regards outgoings as well as incomings!

Nobody who comes in now is going to be ready for the start of the season.
BUT for me that isn't an issue. As long as we have someone in for the Liverpool game we should be able to comfortably beat Fulham and West Ham with what we have.
