Possibly.. but atleast they have loud fans.. I've been saying this for so long but i hate how quiet Emirates are. They basically took over our home ground yesterday.
We usually thrive away from home. Hoping other fans try this all season LOL

A butcher's tackle that went unpunished.

Pretty much like any tackle against us, save for Shawcross rightly being dismissed in that pyrrhic victory over Stoke.

Sometimes I think we're being paid back for our reputation during Graham's & Arsène's early days as a physically dominant team.

I didn't realise it was that long ago. I remember it clearly and being outraged at the ref. Shocking tackle.

I'm happy Arsène stuck by him. If Bournemouth could manage to get almost a full season out of him, surely we can manage that now.

Good God , almost 2 years on & it's just as ghastly as it was then when I watched it live
He should have been sent off for that, I don't think he got anywhere near the ball and he bent Jack's ankle. We have had some nasty injuries over the years with the get at 'em mentality. The ref's gave us no protection when we were bossing the football, just let the thugs get on with their damage.

Terrible hot takes
I thought el neny had a decent game overall...

Overall decent is the only thing he will even be

The only thing he succeds with is the safe options

Defensivly he does just enough to not get made but passes the buck to someone else

He plays to not Fail that is it

Too small in a figurative sense of the word for a team like us

He doesn't win you games

He was better than a lot out there, especially first half. He is quite solid and has a good work rate. Have you ever seen him live, he never stops giving his all, stuff you don't see on camera. He isn't a league winner, but there again, neither is Arsenal at the moment.

Elneny always gives at least a 6/10 performance. Reliable squad player, can play with any of our midfielders, and seems to genuinely enjoy playing for Arsenal. He's not here to win us big games.

You can't have a whole squad full of top players, or they start moaning about unimportant things like playtime and wages.

'But plz Jehova let this be the last time el neny plays'

I don't want to get in to an argument over this, but you quoted the above. We don't really do specialists anymore, the one we have wants to leave. El Neny is no worse than many other first team players. I'd much prefer him to be in the team than Theo.
