  • This will be Arsenal’s first ever game against Belarusian opposition.
  • BATE Borisov will be the 122nd different team that Arsène Wenger has faced while manager of Arsenal.
  • BATE have lost just one of their last 12 home games in all European competition (vs Barcelona in October 2015) and are unbeaten in their last seven (W3 D4).
  • The journey from London to Borisov is a little over 1,900km.
  • BATE Borisov are 3rd in the Belurusian Premier League, two points off the leaders

Do we have anyone who is able to play LWB or RWB besides our first teamers and Nelson/AMN? Not sure what's happened to Debuchy.

Not A Big Believer In Diversity
This has shambolic loss written all over it. We'll finish with 9 men and concede 3 penalties, 2 of which they'll miss.

Arsenal in European Away games doenst fill me with confidence anyway specially when you need to travel some miles.

They won the last 11 league titles in a row, we need Özil to replicate his performance against Ludogorets to beat them
Yeah I'm sure they are a force in... Belarus.

Özil shouldn't have to dirty his fingernails for this. Let the kids fight for the points, Nelson, Willock, AMN, Iwobi, Holding etc. its time to prove their worth. They might not be up for it but give them a chance to play in their proper positions.

Heard that Iwobi might not play, so that opens a place for Nelson in his correct position.

Knowing Wenga, he might choose to go with Ospina as RWB and Akpom in goal.

I really want to see Akpom play.

If Jack puts in a third good performance in a row in the cup games then surely he is pushing the currently under performing Ramsey and Xhaka for a starting league match spot.

Nothing Wrong With Me
We need to win this, keep winning until we have topped the group. The last thing we want is to lose a game or 2 and find ourselves having to field a strong team in the final group games, especially if we have a big club to follow in the PL.

We can play a few youngsters but also play experienced players.

Ospina
Mustafi Per Holding
AMN Elneny Wilshere Nelson
Walcott Özil
Giroud

Özil rested? He just got back after being out for 10 days or so. Would have been a good game for him to get some minutes under his belt.
