Arsenal are on a run of five successive clean sheets in Europa. One more will break the all-time UEFA Europa League record that they currently share with Napoli and Salzburg.

Our weak defence can make history. What a time to be alive.
So we can hold the clean sheet record in the CL and EL? And yet we can't defend.

We did concede 2 in the same fixture last season so let’s not get our hopes up

Pretty much no point resting anyone for this game;
A. We’re only in two competitions
B. We have a weeks rest before the second leg with no weekend fixture.

Go strong. Let’s try win this competition.

Leno
AMN Sok Kos Kola
Torreira Xhaka Guendouzi
Özil
Laca Auba

Subs: Cech, Mustafi, Nacho, Elneny, Iwobi, Mkhitaryan, Suarez.

0-5 to the mighty Arsenal. Emphatic win before the second leg. COYG.

You still need to give the squad players a game or two, a weeks rest or not. If some of them don't play here that would be 2-3 weeks for them with no football by the time the next leg comes around because you know they aren't playing in the league.

A major problem for us over the years has been a lack of rotation, leading to squad players coming in from the freezing cold when a first team player got injured. Resulting in them giving poorer performances than they would have if they had been getting a few games here and there.

We can afford to make a few changes here, so we should. No way I would start Xhaka after he just got back from injury for example. We don't need him for this game.

Talk on Twitter that Özil hasn’t travelled. Not really surprising news at this point.

Looking at other teams we really have a chance this year, no powerhouses just tier 2 clubs.

I think we'll win this competition.

Looks like this IG story of Özil presumably driving home from training is why people think he's not in the squad...

It's probably too cold in Belarus for Özil, so he didn't want to travel.

Ramsey's probably being punished since the club found out from Ornstein that they told Ornstein to tell people Ramsey never wanted to sign with us.

Özil should choose one of the few available retirements leagues for his next career step, but he will probably sit on the bench until the ending of his contract, thanks to mastermind Ivan Baldy.
