anything is fine but if jeffers goes then kanu must stay,if no one wants jeffers then i really dont know whether its a good idea to offer him a new deal, expecially since that wenger made it clear that he wants to buy a new striker.perhaps its still early to say, lets first see his performance first b4 deciding

I though he was not too bad last season before he got the injury and this year he's been pretty good when he's figured in the team. I think the new contract has a lot to do with what happens with Wiltord and whether we get some new striker on board. I would be willing to give him a new contract if he keeps his form all season, but he would have to except a reasonable salary.

i want him to stay whenever he gets on the field he always tries his hardest and has alot of spirit. I think the more games he gets the more he will mature and will be a better player so i say keep him

Kanu can be a super sub at times. His hat-trick against Chelsea a while ago is the obvious example. But last season he also helped set-up Wiltord for the equalising goal against West Ham, and also scored the winner injury time against Bolton at home. I think some people underestimate Kanu. For me, the only thing holding Kanu back is not being a regular starter. If he doesn't play regularly than how do we know what he's capable on a regular basis? He should be our 3rd striker at the moment so if one of our main strikers is out for a while we can hopefully see whether he's good enough or not.
